Version 14

As we close 2025, we continue focusing on helping you create good apps — not just ones that work, but ones that truly stand out.

Supporting the growth of hundreds of digital media products, we’ve seen that the most successful digital and streaming apps share four core qualities:

High performance – Fast, smooth, and responsive, with minimal delays or interruptions.
Stability – Reliable across devices, with no major bugs.
Objective-driven feature set – Built around your business objectives.
Strong UX/UI – Clear, consistent, and visually polished.

In this release, we focused on strengthening stability, improving performance, and ensuring a consistent experience across platforms to deliver a polished UX/UI.

New App Home Page

Introducing your new home page, designed to give you everything you need faster. You’ll get quick access to the Studio, an instant snapshot of how your app is performing, a direct path into the App Dashboard, and a small updates area to help you stay in the loop and never miss what matters. The home page will be released in early 2026.

Stability Check-in

In the previous version, we introduced the App Dashboard — where you can see how your app performs and where there’s room to grow. This version adds a new Stability Check-in section, giving you clear visibility with crash-free session rate and daily crashes per version so you can spot issues quickly and improve your users’ experience. This feature is supported on iOS, Android, tvOS, Android TV, and Fire TV, with the rest of the platforms coming soon.

Consolidating all TV layout builders

Roku joins the unified TV experience. Until now, Roku had its own layout — but not anymore. All TV platforms now share the same layout, making it easier to design once and deliver everywhere, while taking advantage of QuickBrick’s flexibility to provide a better user experience. It is currently in beta; if you'd like to be part of the beta program, please contact your CSM.

App Infrastructure Upgrades

To provide a strong, stable, and high-performance platform, we continuously maintain and upgrade our infrastructure. In this version, we upgraded React Native for improved performance and compatibility. We also implemented Google’s new 16KB page requirement and support Samsung’s latest screen-reader accessibility standards, keeping your app fully compliant across all platforms.

CMS Enhancements

We’ve added quick access to the feeds used in your layout. With the new Feed Info button, you can instantly see which feed is connected to the component you’re editing — along with all the relevant information. All of this makes troubleshooting simpler and faster.

TV Navigation Improvements

Navigation on Samsung and LG TVs is now faster and more intuitive. Instead of scrolling all the way back up, users can simply press Back to return to the top menu — making navigation quicker and easier.

Tabs and Dynamic Colors on Web

We’re continuing to align our web platform with the rest of the ecosystem to achieve feature parity. You can now use Tabs screens on the web, and take advantage of Dynamic Colors for a more modern, adaptive experience.

For more details, your customer success manager will be happy to walk you through the new capabilities and how to make the most of them.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Moving forward into 2026, even more exciting updates are on the way. With our data tools in place, we're ready to take the next step — introducing generative tools to elevate how you build, manage, and grow your apps.
