Smart Component​

Smart components are an evolution of our API. They allow you to design full pages or parts of them remotely, using your own design presets. With Smart Component API you can make design changes to pages across all platforms at once, which is especially interesting for editorial teams that frequently change the home page, the Smart Component is also a powerful tool for personalized and adaptive experiences. Performance Dashboard (Beta)​

Starting from version 8, we have been collecting data to provide you with daily reports on your app's performance. Within the dashboard, you can monitor application loading times, analyze any anomalies and identify potential areas for improvement. To join the beta program please contact your CSM.

Trailer Button​

Give users quicker decisions on their next binge with a trailer button—users can easily preview what a series or film holds before pressing play, making your apps more intuitive platforms for discovery. Click here for additional information.

Analytics Events Mapper​

Curate and customize your analytics metrics easily in Zapp, disable or enable events, change event or property naming, and add your own unique custom properties. Click here for additional information.

Skip Intro and Play Next​

We've added a new feature that enables you to mark specific segments throughout the feed. This functionality allows for seamless skipping of intros and precise timing for the appearance of the 'play next' button. Click here to learn more.

PIP is now supported on Android.

Remote Bundle for Samsung​

The app bundle file will be modified remotely. This way you will no longer need to submit to the store after the first approval.

Live Event Workflow Improvements​

We've enhanced the real-time events workflows. Now, you can set a reminder before the event starts, open a player with a LIVE badge when the event begins, and be directed to the relevant VOD when the event concludes.

Layout Optimisation​

We optimized the loading time of our studio and identified and fixed numerous bugs to improve the stability and performance of our platform.
