While not a relevant experience for TVs, articles and additional content are extremely engaging on mobile devices. It is a strategic decision on the nature of the service (is it a pure video service, or is it an interactive portal). By combining the Pipes API, Webview+, and our JS2N library, compelling experiences and new revenue opportunities may be built easily in your application.

Adding Articles to your app

Create a web view screen and modify the screen as you wish to populate articles.

Create a DSP with web view links and set a type (for type mapping). For example: “webview”.

In the relevant Studio layout, select the type mapping modal (top right corner) then add the type and connect to the screen created in step 1.

Now all articles populating from your feeds, will be opened in the web view you’ve created.
