IDFA Control
Applicaster offers restricted versions of its integrations that prevent any exchange of the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). This is particularly useful for sensitive territories, content, and demographics — like children.
To support this, we’ve introduced a new IDFA and Advertising ID Management plugin.

Key Points
-
Stores the IDFA in session storage.
-
Helps apps (especially kids' apps) comply with App Store guidelines by allowing IDFA usage to be optional.
-
On iOS, the plugin enables controlled collection of IDFA and supports a custom description for the ATT prompt.
-
On Android, it enables or explicitly blocks advertising ID collection — preventing unintended behavior by third-party SDKs (e.g., Firebase, analytics).
